The Ukraine Underground is a 501(c)3 youth-led, grassroots non-profit dedicated to aiding those evacuating or remaining in Ukraine during the Russian Invasion.
Founded on February 27th, 3 days after the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, The Ukraine Underground uses networks of volunteers throughout North America, Europe, and Asia to assist those affected by the war in any way, shape, or form.
As of February 2023, more than 6 million Ukrainians have been forced to flee to neighboring countries — unsure about the future of themselves or their country. This forced exodus constitutes one of the largest exoduses in world history since World War II.
As citizens of the world, we believe it is our responsibility to stand up to injustice and tyranny globally to construct a better world. As Dr. Martin Luther King stated in 1963, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
